THE ART OF SELLING A BAG

THE ART OF SELLING A BAG
SUITE EXECUTIVE

The Art of Selling a Bag by Marco Morosini explores the relazionship between Design, Art and Industry. Art must be freed from the finance that box has imprisioned, he has to go back with us. We must learn to dream knowing dreaming, hoping tha the world will be saved by beauty of creativity and not be power.

Art today is an abstract entity imprisoned in sterile white galleries, controlled by invisible gatekeepers and guarded by visible but hostile receptionists, eyes fixed on their monitors. Art can, and must, be reborn, become closer to the people and the everyday. Art has been through many revolutions, it’s time for another. Artists must once more find the courage of their convictions and no longer submit to a system ruled purely by economic considerations. They must find new life, return to creating and believing in themselves and disseminate the power of expression. A new dimension is needed in art, one that offers businesses the powerful, strategic weapon of spontaneous creativity. They should not merely be sponsors of exhibitions and events but should themselves become part of the creative process by involving artists and proposing the new and the unexpected. Companies should find their way out of their Excel files and the managerial rigor that can so easily become a negative filter to creativity. Art must be released from the financial prison in which it is currently held and return among the people. There is no shortage of inspiration. One font was a trip from Cattolica to Bellaria that gave rise to Brandina without worrying whether it was art or business. Welcome to the new world, welcome to “The Art of Selling a Bag”.
